m/36 Tunic, 1940Type: m/36 Tunic (Asetakki m/36), enlisted men Material: Cavalry twill wool, cotton half liner Manufacturer: Unknown Manufacturing year: ~1940 Markings: Sold -mark Ⓜ, size 50 and intendentants mark M/36 transitional uniform from 1940. The tunic retains cuff buttons, belt hooks and other early m/36 tunic identifiers. Made out of a good quality wool. Epaulettes are still early rounded m/36 epaulettes, but were never manufactured with branch colour piping. This together with minimal markings points out to a early 1940 manufactured tunic. The tunic has Signal Troops shoulder insignia and collar tabs. These may or may not be original to the tunic. |
